The normal spellbook is for fighting monsters, while the ancient spellbook is for pvp, and the lunar spellbook is skill-based. Each is interchangable, however more effective if used appropriately.
Watch out for players attempting to trim armour! Trimmed and gold plated armour cannot be made, only found in treasure trails.
