DragonHide Items
Once you launch into the levels around 60 crafting, you'll enter the world of Dragonhide Armour. This can be a great moneymaker, if you know what your doing, but also a great experiance tool.

The world or Runescape is inhabited by Green, Blue, Red, and Black dragons, among others. Bronze, Iron, and Steel dragons do not drop dragonhides, but rather bars of the respective metal type. Once you get some of these hides, take them to the tanner and (s)he will charge you 20gp per hide to tan your dragonhide.

One important note is that dragonhide armour is different then leather armour. You will need more than one hide for some peices and therefore if you buy the hides check the cost and profit using our Profit Calculator before you buy them to see if it will actually loose you money.

Glassblowing
As your crafting level grows, you will find that you are able to craft more than just the weak leather armour available at lower levels. You will soon be able to craft glass items which will aid you in your adventures. To begin, you'll need to know how to make molten glass.

Items Required
  Item Where found
empty bucket Empty Bucket Can be purchased from any general store.
glassblowing pipe Glassblowing Pipe Found in the shack in Hemenster (ranger's guild) or Entrana
seaweed Seaweed On most shores (near water), drop from water-prone monsters, Dorgesh-Kaan Dungeon.

Using the above items, you can create glass items. Fill your bucket with sand from one of the many sandpits of Runescape, then combine it with your soda ash in a furnace to get molten glass. Next use your glassblowing pipe to create your items, and voiala!

Battlestaves
One of the most popular areas of crafting involves crafting battlestaves. There are only a few select locations where battlestaves can be purchased, but because of recent updates, they can now be obtained as drops from various monsters.

Battlestaves can be found in the following locations:
  • Baba Yaga's store on Lunar Isle (small stock)
  • Zaff in Varrock (amount to be purchased is determined by percent completion of the Varrock Acheivement Diary).
  • Mage Training Arena (purchased with pizazz points).

Once you aquire your battlestaves, you can make the following elemental staves based on the appropriate level requirements. Simply take the uncharged orb, and the appropriate runes to the elemental obliesk.
