Tower of Life

Official Description [From Runescape.com]:
The construction of a mysterious tower is almost complete, but the builders working on it have gone on strike. Losing patience, the alchemists that hired them are looking for anybody to help them. When the world of magic and the world of logic combine you can expect dangerous results, but a true adventurer would cherish such things... wouldn't they?

Start Location:
Speak to Effigy - Tower South Of Ardougne

Combat:
None

Starting
Speak to Effigy outside the tower, who wants you to convince his workers to continue building. Speak to Bonifido and ask him to go inside the building. After he tells you you are not dressed properly, speak to all the workers to get their clothes. Speak to No Fingers then pickpocket his boots. Trade The Guns a beer for his shirt. Talk to Gummy then search the bushes near the ocean to get his pants.

Next you have a series of questions coming up. Your first set will be from Black-Eye:

Q: How many nails make up a rocking chair?
A: 3

Q: What does 3 cloth, 3 planks, and 3 nails make?
A: Torn Curtains

Q: I like fish and I would like to put some in my garden. How do I make a water feature?
A: 10 Clay

Next Talk to Bonifido again who will test your knowledge of building before he lets you in.

Q: What do you drink?
A: Tea

Q: How do you whistle?
A: "Whistle for attention"

Q: What's a good sign that you need to replace your trousers?
A: Your legs are getting a bit cold.

Q: What do you do if you cut your finger?
A: Carry on, it'll fix itself.

Permission
Now that you have Bonofido's permission to enter the tower, go to it. Grab some items from the crates while you are on the bottom floor:

4 Colored Balls - 2
3 Peices of sheet metal - 2
4 Valve Wheels - 2
6 Rivets - 3
4 Metal Pipes - 3
5 Pipe Rings - 3
5 Metal Bars - 4
4 Bottles of Binding Fluid - 4

As you can see, there are alot of objects. Get all the items that correspond with the floor you will need them on to save space (4 Colored Balls - 2 means you need 4 colored balls on floor 2). Grab your first set of items, then head up the stairs. Fix the machine, then calibrate it. To calibrate the first machine, turn the wheels to move the ball up or down in order to fill the hole. After the hole is filled, turn the wheel to fill the tube with water untill the chat box says that the pipe is fixed.

The last two machines
Get your second set of materials, and fix the next machine before calibrating it by clicking pipes and dragging them to look like this:

On the cage, simply select the type of bar you want to place (vertical/horizontal), then adjust the length. Rotate the cage untill all the sides are fixed, then head back down and tell Effigy. They celebrate, and you will see a cutscene in which they summon the Homunculus. After he chases the alchemists off, go down and talk to them, then go back up, and speak to it. He will ask you various questions, which you need to answer to determine how its mind works. You can sway it either towards magic or logic - the answers are clear which side they represent.

The End
After that is done, head back to the ground, and watch it scare off the alchemists, before heading into the dungeon below. Speak to the Homunculus in the dungeon to receive your reward.

Reward:
2 QP, 1k Construction XP, 500 Crafting and Theiving XP, Access to Creature Creation.

Random Tip:
Barrows Armour sets are great for combat because of their special abilities.
