Introduction:
Gnomeball is an old Runescape tradition. It is NOT a complex game, therefore this guide will be very short. Anyone can play, just head to the Northwest part of the Gnome Stronghold (which is ironicly located in the Northwest corner of Runescape).

Equipment to Play:
You dont need anything to play. The gnomes CAN hit you for damage, so you might want to bring a little food if your worried, and maybe an energy restore potion or two, but other than that you should be set as you are when you leave tutoral island.

How to Play:
To play, enter the field and speak to the referee. He will give you a gnomeball which you must put through the hoop on the other end. Simple, untill you factor in the masses of gnomes running around trying to steal it from you. Gnomes with RED and YELLOW patches on their shoulders are the OTHER TEAMS. Gnomes with GREEN patches are your receivers.

A common and highly sucsessfull tactic is to pass to your receiver, run down the field, and receive the pass back (he automaticly gives it back when you stop moving). You can also attempt to run it up the field. If a gnome steals it from you, you can try and steal it back and continue playing, by clicking them.

Rewards:
Once you score 5 goals, you will be declared the winner, and the referee will give you your very own Gnomeball, to take out of the arena. This can be equipped, or used among friends. To pass to someone, unequip it, select "use with", and click the person you wish to pass to. Gnomeball also gives a little bit of ranging experiance.

Random Tip:
Moderators can be spotted by their in-game crowns. Player moderators have silver crowns, while Official JaGex moderators have gold crowns.
Scam Alert!
A less common scam nowadays is the itme duplication scam. Items cannot be duplicated, no matter who tells you what. It is not possible.
