The Kharidian Desert is a dangerous place for the unprepared. It is vast, it is hot, and, if you anger the gods, it is not a place to be. Sandstorms can appear, camels and wolves can attack, and for the tired and worn out, vultures above could seem like a releif.
There are, however, ways to travel this vast wasteland without facing death. For the prepared adventurer, desert travel is nothing more than a stroll in the park.
What, then, will help you prepare?

Waterskin | Keeps you hydrated. If you do not have one you will take (1-9) periodic damage. | Shantay Pass |

Desert Shirt | Repels Heat to keep the player cool. Increases the amount of time your water lasts. Dark clothes have the opposite effect. | Shantay Pass |

Desert Robe | Same as the Desert Shirt/Boots | Shantay Pass |

Desert Boots | Same as the Desert Shirt/Robe | Shantay Pass |
Having these items will prepare you for surviving the desert. If you are ever lost, and want to get out, just remember, go north! Once you reach the far north, you can go east or west untill you find the Shantay Pass, which will let you leave the desert.
