Varrock

Varrock is a sight to see. As the largest standing city in the free game, Varrock represents the might of the Kindgom of Misthalin. Ruled over by King Roald, and Queen Ellamaria, Varrock is what you might expect from any major city - busy. In the western quarter smiths will be happy to find a bank close to the anvils. Follow the road South and you will find the Apothecary among the dilapidated houses. Newer players may take interest in the fairly reasonably priced sword shop, and the clothes shop found here. Head into the eastern quarter and you will find yet another bank, however the anvils here are a bit farther away. The Church of Varrock has a yew tree out front just up the road from the bank, and the museum can be found next door. The Varrock East Bank is popular among free world pkers, because it is straight south of the most popular wilderness entrance - the Northern gate of Varrock. Some other amusing names for the city among (again) newer players, are Varro, Varrot, Carrot, Carrock, Varek, Vorrock, and of course, Verarork. The Southern Quarter sports a mage shop, fancy dress shop (for members), two more pubs, the hideouts to two gangs, and a general store.
