Al Kharid

Al Kharid is the edge of the desert. This sand covered city is home to Ali Morrisane, one of Runescapes NPC merchants, inventors, enterprenuers, bankers, transporters, ect, ect. Quite the moneymaker...

Also calling Al Kharid home is the Sorceress' Garden minigame. This game will allow you to take Sq'rks to another resident of the sandy city, Osmam, the royal spy. Osman can lead you on one of the free quests, Prince Ali Rescue.

Crafters will enjoy the citie's Tanner, found next door to the Kebab salesman, and the furnace. Up and coming adventurers will want to shop at the citie's Platelegs, Plateskirt, and Scimitar shops, before heading to the Duel Arena just North between the City and the Mines. After a long day of battle you may find that you can reach the Peacefull Gnome Stronghold by using the Al Kharid Glider, or you can head to a quiet desert oasis by using the Shantay Pass, which can be found just South of the City. Lumbridge is to the West, through the toll gate (10 gold), Varrock is to the North, past Ali the Leaflet Dropper, and far East, unreachable from the main city, is Burgh de Rott, of the Kingdom Morytania and the Swamplands.

Al Kharid has the Duel Arena North, Shantay Pass South, Lumbridge to the West, Varrock to the North, the Sorceress' Garden South, and far East (unreachable from here) is Burgh de Rott. It is a good place to train Crafting. There is a Glider in the city. The Desert is to the South. One of the four Amulet of Glory teleport options.
